Benny's Story...

BENNY is a 4 to 5 year old male Bichon. He was pulled from a high kill shelter on his last day. He did not show well in the shelter...he was terrified.

Benny loves to sit on the couch with you and sleep in bed with you. He follows you around the house. He is house-trained, and does not like to be kenneled at all. (he doesn't need to be) Benny is getting his teeth cleaned this week and he will be ready for his new home. Benny would do better with someone who is home all day to be with him. He gets along with other dogs, large and small and also cats.

Anyone interested in adopting Benny needs to complete an adoption application, and adoption contract. Benny is fully vetted, shots, neutered, micro-chipped and comes with a free month of pet insurance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Brighton Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
