My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone! My name is Alfie. I am a true gentle giant (weight is 98lbs). I love to cuddle and hold hands. I am very affectionate with everyone. I love people and kids. I get along really well with other dogs. I have never been around cats but I am pretty sure I would like them too. You can leave me unsupervised in your home not to worry I will not damage or eat anything I am not supposed to. I love toys and rawhide bones. I loved to be brushed and I am good with a bath but I put up a bit of a fight getting in the tub. Long walks and car rides are so much fun I can’t get enough of them. Everyone seems to think I am about 8 years old but I act younger especially when I want to play. My vet tells me I am in very good shape and she thinks I am pretty sweet too. Everyone finds my floppy ears hard to resist, they are pretty adorable because one flops to the front and the other to the back. I like being outside but prefer to be by people. If you promise to love and take good care of me I promise to be a very loyal and loving companion.
