Serena's Story...
My name is Serena! My D.O.B. is 1/04/10. I was running around with my two brothers when I was picked up by animal control. MAS came and got me and I am so glad they did. I am a very petite lab mix. I have alot of learning to do, but am on the right track. I can be very, very shy at first, until I get to know you. I wasn't treated very well before and just need the right family with lots of tenderness and patience to help me get over my fears. I tend to bond tightly with volunteers that come to see me and I know when I find the right family I will bond with them too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Lake Odessa Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
