Cher - AMAZING, SWEET LAB!!'s Story...
Woof - my name is Cher. I am a purebred black lab, spayed female. I am 2 years old and I weigh 53 lbs. I am THE SWEETEST girl. I am great with other dogs, people and kids. I was found on the freeway up in Bakersfield and rescued from up there. I am calm, sweet, and just have that typical lab personality. I would love to be in a family home! I walk well on a leash. I have not yet been tested with cats, but my rescue can do that and we expect I would do well with cats. I am spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all of my shots.

If you are interested in meeting me or adopting me, please email my rescue at info@labsandfriends.org for an application for me or any of my other dog friends - or you can also go to www.labsandfriends.org and download the application there as well. You can email the application in or fax it to 818-351-8148 no cover sheet needed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cher - AMAZING, SWEET LAB!!, a Burbank Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
