Raggedy Andy's Story...
Hello, My name is Raggedy Andy. My sister, Raggedy Ann and I were picked up as strays and taken to a rural kill shelter in Kentucky. By the grace of God, someone came to our rescue. Not only did she save us, but also 23 of our closest friends. Our shelter was overcrowded and they were going to have to kill some of us to make room for other homeless dogs needing to come in.

Right now we are in a foster home in Kentucky. We have had a bath, flea medicine, our first puppy vaccine, de-wormed and flea treated. We will be going to the vet again in a couple of weeks for our next vaccination and to be spayed/neutered.

If you are interested in adopting one of us, please email our foster Mom at delsw7@aol.com and ask for an adoption application.

My adoption fee is $395.00. I will be neutered, current on vaccines, de-wormed, flea/tick treated and micro-chipped. I also come with insurance! Love, Raggedy Andy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raggedy Andy, a Oswego German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Oswego, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
