Maisy is a high energy 4 month old girl with short legs. She likes to play with dogs and is learning not to be scared of them. She plays hard but once tired out will lie beside you and go to sleep. She will cuddle briefly but then she's off to play again. She loves water and will even try to get into the tub with you! If you'd like to know more about this
fun loving pup, please come and meet her at the adoption stand! For more information, contact aarfva@hotmail.com .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maizy, a Richmond Border Collie/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Corgi for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Border Collie/Corgi puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Corgi breeders who help with Border Collie/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
