Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My owners threw me out on the busy streets of Columbus to fend for myself, I was terrified, and I had no clue where to go or what to do!! Lucky for me I was picked up by the County Dog Warden and taken to the shelter. The shelter was scary too but lucky for me they contacted Harlequin Haven to come for me as soon as my stray time was up.
Why do people throw us dogs out on the street if my owners cared at all they would at least have taken me to the shelter so I would not have been in danger of being hit by a car or starving???
Grandma says I am ready for adoption, sorta, I guess she is right! I am still scared of people for at least the first few minutes and will hug whomever I feel most secure with at that moment. I am not a fear biter so please do not think that, when I get scared I just hide behind someone or hug their leg! Grandma says I need to be with someone willing to take me to obedience and get me and keep me socialized!! Are you that person or family?
NOTE: No small children (HHGDR does not adopt puppies to homes with small children. Please see more details at our FAQ http://hhdane.org/faq/faqmain.htm#nosmallchildren)
