This wonderful young dog is a tribute to her name - gentle, loving, tender . . . the list just goes on and on. Bambi so loves human companionship that she suffers greatly when that is denied her. All this sweetheart wants is to belong somewhere with someone who loves her. After all dogs give to us, Bambi really is not asking a lot.
Just imagine how disappointed this gentle soul must have felt when the people she loved gave her up! Her heart was broken. But, the staff at Save-a-Pet are working hard to make Bambi build up her self-confience once again.
Bambi has the most wonderful temperament. She LOVES all living creatures, and is content just sitting by your side - quietly, unobtrusively. She won't make much of a fuss - she just wants to know that you are there next to her.
Because Bambi was abandoned, and because she is a most sensitive little girl, she developed separation anxiety - a terrible fear that her person will never return to her. This is something that can be worked through with patience and understanding. (My own little rescue had the same problem.) But as the song says, "All you need is love." Once she realizes that she is loved forever and will NEVER be dumped again, Bambi can get over this.
Abandoned animals suffer so much and they have no way of expressing their anguish.
If you have enough time and patience to invest in this exceptional canine friend, the payoff will be well worth your investment. She is nearly a perfect companion.
