My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SOS! Pure breed Akita, male, neutered, 1 year old, in need of FOSTER placement so elderly owner can undergo brain surgery.... Alpha personality so will not be good with other dogs and we recommended this dog be placed in a home with older children and without cats. The Akita is currently located in Binghamton area. An adoption situation is only necessary if the owners surgery does not not prove successful. Although this dog is dominant (as the Akita breed is) he is certainly a loyal, trained and healthy canine in need of care while his family is under current health struggles.
A stipend will be considered for expenses for a foster family. Broome County and surrounding areas would be ideal for dog placement, however we are reaching out to anyone interested/experienced in fostering a 1 year old Akita male! Please reach out. (pics to come--not too sure what the dog looks like YET, but will update info as I receive it!!!)
