Guinevere's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Guinevere's Story...
Guinevere was saved from a euthanasia list created to decrease overpopulation at her shelter. It's a shame because this submissive, sweet beauty is only 6 months old. She's 35 pounds, and I don't see her getting above 50 pounds. She's much smaller than pictures lead on. Guinevere is up-to-date on all shots and heart worm meds, microchipped, and SPAYED! All that for a $60 adoption fee.

The picture by the door shows her petite size, considering photos do not accurately portray size.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guinevere, a Baton Rouge Belgian Malinois/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois/Golden Retriever for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Belgian Malinois/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Belgian Malinois/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
