Hi there! My name is Yankee and even though my foster parents are going to miss having me around, I'm looking for my forever home. I've had a hard life in the past, but I'm thriving in my foster home and quickly learning all the things I never had the chance to in the shelter. I know all the basics about living in a house: I'm housetrained, I share my toys with my foster sister, and I'm able to stay in my crate while my parents are at work (although I prefer being out and snuggling). I'm starting to learn my basic commands and how to walk on a leash because I didn't have a lot of practice before, but since I'm a hound at heart I do love to sniff anything and everything! I do like to get a walk and play with my toys, but I'm really a lazy, affectionate boy at heart. In fact, my foster parents think since I like snoozing and snuggling up with them so much I might be part cat! So if there's a place for me on your couch - and in your heart to give a special boy a chance - I'm waiting to hear from you.
