MuttSavers holds adoption events each Saturday starting at 11:00 at the Broomfield PetCo @ 120th & Sheridan, 12163 Sheridan Blvd., Broomfield, 80020. We cannot arrange adoption meetings prior to the adoption events. MuttSavers is a foster based rescue organization.

Please email for adoption event volunteer information and information on fostering. We can't save them all but we can save the ones we have fosters for! Each week MuttSavers rescues pups and young dogs from shelters that are forced to put animals to sleep every day because of limited space and resources. There are way too many dogs being born into unwanted and unhealthy conditions. MuttSavers pups are so happy to be rescued. They are receiving TLC in foster care and are looking forward to meeting you this Sat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samoa, a Broomfield Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Broomfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Broomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
