Come meet JAZZ. This handsome fellow will really "jazz up" your life. Jazz is an adorable black and tan 4 year old, 17 pound tweenie ( (AKC, no papers). Jazz is loving and sweet as can be. Lots of energy, and so a large fenced yard is a must. Although he is something of a Wild Child, he just is full of energy, and minds well. He would be a great help in keeping you active as well. This sweetheart is totally potty trained and crate trained -- loves his big wire crate and burrowing in the soft blankets Jazz loves to play with kids over 12 and cats are ok. Happy as can be chasing his toys. He could be placed with a spayed female doxie. He has been neutered and fully vetted since arriving at ODR, Inc. Jazz is an adorable cuddle pup with velvet soft fur. Healthy happy baby boy, ready for his forever home.
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
