Bandit's Story...
Born Nov. 2011, Bandit is a tan dog with white and black markings on face and feet. She's been spayed, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, and takes heartworm prevention. Bandit is crate trained and walks on a loose leash with people she knows. She knows the sit and down commands. She enjoys playing with other dogs and has been around a supervised child. She loves to chase balls thrown to her and enjoys tossing doggie toys in the air. She's a bit quirky, preferring a structured, predictable, low key environment. She is timid at first with new people, but acts so joyful when she's settled in her place and relaxed. Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net for an application for Bandit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Chapel Hill Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
