Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I’m Shelby. I’m a two year old beagle boy. My owners had to give me up and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I’m near perfect if I do say so myself. I am cute and cuddly, potty trained, crate trained and I even know a few commands like sit and shake. My kitchen manners may leave something to be desired, but hey I am a beagle, right? I’m on the shorter side, so counter surfing really isn’t my thing. Oh and how could I forget – I love a good belly rub! I will lay down right by your feet belly up.
I have a few beagle brothers here at the foster home and we all get along quite well. I keep to myself and I’m not much of a bother. For the most part, I’m a quiet boy, not too vocal. I’m a mid energy beagle. Don’t get me wrong, if you want to go for a walk or play I’ll be right there with you, but I also like to curl up and sleep.
My favorite things to do are chew on bones and spend time outside! I’m a little nippy, so it’s best I have something around that is intended for me to chew on so I don’t get myself into trouble.
I’m great with kids and was even able to spend a few minutes with the cats at Petsmart and did okay with them.
I am really looking forward to finding a new furever home! Won’t you please consider making me a part of your family as I have lots of love to give!!!
