Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Crookshanks, born around 8/2010, was originally admitted to Chicago Animal Care and Control as a stray before being transferred to Tree House. One staff member responsible for choosing cats for transfer said Crookshanks was chosen in part because of the heartbreaking way she rubbed herself against the bars of her cage, pleading for attention.
It’s unimaginable that such a gentle and lovely young cat was surviving outside. She looks very fancy in her plush Elizabethan cowl which perfectly frames her delicate face and cute pink nose.
She is still adjusting to the shelter so hasn’t made friends with the kitties yet, but watches them with much curiosity.
