My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope (AKA Penny) - 8 year old female Chihuahua mix. Penny was found roaming the large, busy streets around El Camino College. As a mature lady, Penny is very gentle and mellow. She walks well on leash and enjoys going on walks. She gets along with other dogs and cats, too. In terms of grooming, she is very low maintenance due to her short coat and she enjoys being bathed and doesn’t mind the blow dryer. She is crate trained and will curl up and sleep comfortably during the night. She will need a bit of housetraining. Penny looks small, especially with her short legs, but she’s solid. She weighs 16 pounds.

Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions. See Our Adoption Policies for more details on our adoption policies.

Our Adoption Fairs are held every Saturday at the PETCO located at 537 N. PCH Redondo Beach CA 90277 from noon-4:00pm. It is best to come before 3:00pm to allow time to visit with the dogs.
