Jill's Story...
Hi Everybody,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my bio.... Who knows, maybe we will become great friends. Well, lets get started...I will tell you alittle about myself. My name is Jill and I am a 3 year old purebred Jack Russell Terrier. I am a small female but you surely will get alot for my small size. I am quite a fiesty young lady. I love to jump, the people at the shelter say that I am like a jumping jack. I just have so much energy I don't know what to do with it all. My primary colors are white with tan markings. I am housetrained and I try to keep my little room at the shelter nice and clean. I get along fine with bigger dogs but not with other small dogs. We always tend to end up fighting. I don't know why that happens but I am better off without them. Then there's cats. They are a definite NO in my home because I will chase them all over. I would probably prefer to live in an adult home or one with older kids because I do like things "My way" sometimes. I guess I am alittle picky and spoiled. I just like what I like :) I do have a lot of predatory instincts and I would probably make a great pet for a farm because I am what people used to call a "good ratter". Well, thats just what they say. I'm just going to leave that alone, I'm not even sure what they are talking about...
I was adopted once recently but it didn't work out and they returned me. You see, my person is pregnant and she does not think she will have time for me anymore once the human baby comes along. What a shame! I am hoping to find that perfect forever home next time!
Since I came to the shelter I have been spayed, and I am up-to-date with my routine shots. Oh and I do have a microchip put in me so that if we do get lost from each other you will be able to find me :)
Oh, I forgot to tell you that I walk great on the leash and I really love going for my walks and I really want you to know that I don't need a lot, just a person to love me and a lap to sit on and cuddle. SOooooooo if you have room in your heart and home for such a wonderful young lady like me, contact the people at the shelter and they can arrange a time for us to meet!! I will love you SOooo much and I will be your very best friend forever! :) I live in Youngwood, Pa. at the shelter so why don't you stop in and see me. I SO..... would love to have my "VERY OWN FOREVER HOME AGAIN."
You can see some other adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. BUT please find me first? OK?
All adoption fees include spaying, chip and up-to-date vaccinations.
I HOPE to meet you really soon. Jill!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jill, a Youngwood Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
