OZZY's Story...
MY NAME IS OZZY, I WAS DUMPED AT A KILL SHELTER ALONG WITH 12 OTHER DOGS. MY PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A BREEDER AND I WAS KEPT OUTSIDE LIVING IN DIRT, COVERED WITH FLEAS AND MY NAILS WERE SO LONG IT WAS HARD FOR ME TO WALK. EVENTHOUGH I HAD A ROUGH START AND NOT A NICE OWNER I AM A LOVE. I ADORE PEOPLE, OTHER DOGS AND LOVE TO LAY IN YOUR LAP. I GET SO EXCITED TO SEE MY FOSTER I JUMP UP TO HER WAIST.
I AM VERY SMART AND A VERY FAST LEARNER. VERY EAGER TO PLEASE.
I AM ONLY4LBS AND ABOUT 7-8MONTHS. DUE TO MY SIZE I CAN'T GO TO A HOME WITH CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 10.

I AM NOT SURE WHAT I AM BUT I LOOK LIKE A CHI/TERRIER/CHINESE CRESCENT.

WWW.TINYPAWSRESCUE.COM FOR AN APPLICATION, MUST HAVE OWNED/OR PREVIOUSLY OWNED A SMALL DOG WITH AN EXCELLENT VET REFERENCE.

MUST BE HOME MOST OF THE TIME OR HAVE A FURRY COMPANION FOR OZZY TO SPEND THE DAYS WITH.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OZZY, a New Milford Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
