Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Apollo. I am a 2 year old, male, Lab/Shepherd mix. I was rescued with my family, Phoenix and Hope, on 12/29/11. We have been called the “Freeway Dogs” because we were living under the 710 Freeway for possibly 8 months or so. We were caught by a few animal lovers who had been watching us try to survive for some time. When they brought us to The PRC, we were emaciated and tired. I slept for almost a week straight! It was not long before I came around and loved my new friend and temporary home . I am very playful with toys and I love to get belly scratches. I am still learning to be social with new dogs. I am looking for a family to give me tons of love and help me continue to grow.. If you would like to meet me, please contact Casey!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at info@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: info@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
