Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Hope. I am an 8 month old, Female, Lab mix. I was rescued with my mom and dad, Phoenix and Apollo, on 12/29/11. We have been called the “Freeway Dogs” because we were living under the 710 Freeway for possibly 8 months or so. We were caught by a few animal lovers who had been watching us try to survive for some time. When they brought us to The PRC, I was hungry and exhausted. I had a very old injury to my left eye which needed to be removed. You would never know I was a feral dog! I have the happiest personality. I like all other dogs, people and children. I am very treat motivated and know many basic commands. I am also a singer! When I am excited to see you will hear it. If you are looking for a little girl with a big story, here I am!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at info@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: info@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
