My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie was rescued from a kill shelter in November 2011. She was pregnant and apparently abandoned by irresponsible owner. She certainly was someone's pet because she is incredibly sweet and loving. She was pulled in the nick of time from the city shelter euthanasia list and spayed.

Minnie has been sitting in a cage for couple of months but recently she moved to a foster home in Bushwick so she can get some exercise and enjoy looking out the window. She loves it. Minnie is playful like all young cats, but seems that her life experiences taught her acceptance and calm.

She likes people and tolerates other cats after proper introduction. She is loving but not in your face pet me now or I will raise hell kind of a cat. Instead, she is a quiet, low key companion, who appreciates an intelligent (or silly) conversation, watching tv and pigeon watching.

We have reasons to be believe she would make an awesome mouser.
