My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Mac. I'm a 2 year old pit/boxer mix with a lot of life and
love to offer. My childhood wasn't the best, but I'm not focusing on that
now. I'm looking forward. I'm a very goofy, happy boy who wants to find
his forever family more than anything. I have some quirks, but I'm hoping
you'll find your way into loving me with them. I love the familiar and
really don't like new situations. First meetings are often the worst thing
for me, but I get along with all humans. I sometimes have to meet other
dogs in a familiar environment or several times in an unfamiliar environment
to think they're great - however I have not found a dog I don't like if you
put in the effort. I am not a good off-leash dog or dog park dog as all of
those are new situations that I don't do well in. I have a strong prey
drive so a home with cats or other little creatures probably isn't the right
fit for me. I also need a fenced backyard to play in - and man do I love to
play! I'm high energy in the fact that I love to play but you can wear me
out with a good bit of fetch in the yard. I love to snuggle and will never
hurt my human or canine family once I'm bonded which happens quickly. I
have a ton of personality and once you've spent any time with me you'll find
it hard to live without me. I am extremely easy to train and I love to
learn. I want more than anything to prove to you how much I love you. My
foster family says I'm more than worth it and that you will get back 100
times the love you give.
