Hunny's Story...
Hunny was one of three pups that were found abandoned and alone in a warehouse. No one is sure of their story, but anyone with a heart can be sure that it was a lonely, unforgiving journey. Hunny has not had a lot of exposure to “normal life”, such as children, other animals, or being in a home environment, but is on her way to becoming a well socialized girl. She is very intelligent and easily trainable. Hunny is motivated by positive feedback and thrives on attention. She is friendly and outgoing, with a true enthusiastic outlook on life. Once this little girl has established trust and confidence in her new human, there will be a lifelong bond that nothing will break. She is a wonderful age to learn that people are kind creatures, capable of love and compassion, and we know you’re out there. Hopefully Hunny will too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunny, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Belgian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Belgian Shepherd for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Belgian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Belgian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Belgian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
