Kirby's Story...
Kirby is a happy dog who LOVES to go for walks but has no leash manners at all. He is very sweet and friendly with other dogs. He like to be petted by older gentle kids but right now he should not be trusted with really young kids that are reaching for him or grabbing. This is a nice boy who just needs a home that will love and train him and then he will turn out to be the perfect dog. Kirby is a terrier mix, 1 years old and about 15 lbs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kirby, a Encino Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
