My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Jack and I spent my whole life with one wonderful family & they loved me lot's. They had a baby who I adored and all was good, we were still family. Then the second baby came along and he had severe allergies to me. They tried everything but it just wasn't working. I had to spend more time outside and that wasn't much fun. Luckily, they called Izzy's Place and now I have a really great foster home where I get to hang out with other dogs, big and small, play in the big yard and sleep on my comfy dog bed right next to my foster mom's bed each night.

I've been in foster care for quite awhile and it kinda makes me sad because I know most don't want a dog that's 13 years old. But I'm not your typical 13 yr old dog. I've got good energy, enjoy daily walks, playing with toys and other dogs and I have impeccable housemanners. I guess another reason no one wants me is that I have petite mal seizures. They're controlled by inexpensive medications but most people freak out when they hear seizures and don't even give me a chance. I sure wish someone would give me a chance. I'm such a good boy, very handsome too! But until then I am very much loved at my foster home.

I love all people, other dogs and even cats. Thanks for reading about me and I sure hope someone out there will let me adopt them!

Love, Jack

Our adoption process includes an application, phone interview, and home visit. As we strive to make the best match between dog and adoptive family, it is not first come/first served.
