Sophie's Info...

Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a very social, friendly, and energetic 2 +/- year old. She loves everybody she meets. She walks fairly well on the leash but does pull some. Sophie was found as a stray so we do not know a whole lot about her history. She is good with most other dogs. She prefers to be the boss. She is great with kids though she does jump. She does not do well with cats. She weighs approx. 30 lbs. She would do well with any family. She needs a home of her own.

This pets adoption fee is $80 which includes his/hers spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, routine vaccines, deworming, and flea/tick preventative. Please inquire for adoption details and procedures.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Lawrenceburg Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Lawrenceburg, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Lawrenceburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
