My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chico is eight months old and appears to be a Maine Coon mix but with a medium coat, mostly black and brown striped with a white feet and muzzle and a white blaze on his nose. He was rescued from a kill shelter when his time ran out, and though they thought he was 4 months old, our vet said more like 8 weeks and he was a very large kitten. He is a sweet boy and a little bashful so wouldn't do well in a very noisy house with toddlers and lots of activity. A quieter home with older children or adults would be best for him. He loves to play with rattle balls and golf balls, run and slide on throw rug or jump on the bed. He's a silly guy who acts brave then hides under the bed, then peeks out and is ready to play. He stays in a bedroom with two older cats who like him; we have too many cats around the house so when he comes out, he's very intimidated but we don't blame him! He was especially fond of a one-year-old orange tabby he was with for a while. He has a beautiful coat and loves to be brushed, has perfect litter box habits and is very quiet. He would thrive in a household where he would get a lot of love and attention!
