Tiny Dino's Story...
This is tiny Dino, he is about 8 lbs. Dino is a sweet heart, but a little bit shy, yet he does like to be playful.
Dino is a 1 year old Dark Chocolate RatTerrier / Chihuahua mix, with the sweetest face and really cute big ears. Dino is a very little guy, so he would be happiest in a home with another tiny dog around his size for him to play with, and he is young enough to learn to be friendly with cats!
This is a darling little dog who would love to be spoiled and adored, and would be great for a family that has the understanding that he is tiny and needs to be in a home that will be careful with him and keep him safe and happy!
He is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny Dino, a Van Nuys Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
