Michaelangelo's Story...
Michaelangelo was abandoned with his family in front of the Community Family Centers in East Houston. He is currently living with his three brothers and mother, all of which are litter box trained, in a loving foster home. Michaelangelo loves his brothers, especially his best friend and favorite brother, Raphael. Michaelangelo and his siblings were named after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and of course the great artists. As an adorable quirk, he tilts his head to the side like he is contemplating an issue of great import. Additionally, he is known to wait at the door to greet his foster mom when she comes home. This beautiful boy is looking for a loving and interactive home. Your home could be just the home he needs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michaelangelo, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
