Comet's Story...
My name is Comet. I love to go for my RUNS with the volunteers. I am not leash trained yet but we are working on it. I have a mind of my own and usually where I want to go that is where we go. I was dropped off in the country somewhere and a lady fed me for a while then she brought me here. I really don't care for it much here but I am learning to deal. I am a love bug that just would like a yard to run in and then come in and be with my new found family. If you have any place in your heart for me PLEASE call Melodie at 217-822-3980 but Please hurry :) Please leave a message with your name and phone number and she will call you back.

Act quickly to adopt Comet. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Comet, a Paris Great Dane/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Boxer for sale in Paris, or seeking a Great Dane/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Boxer breeders who help with Great Dane/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
