Notes: Poor Pearl has had a most difficult month. She gave birth to six puppies on 3/2 and four have since perished from congenital defects and the other two do not look like they are in good shape either. This poor Momma is panicked and keeps looking and looking around for her missing puppies. She is such a good Mommy and just beside herself over the loss of her little ones...

A little more about Pearl though.. She is extremely sweet and has a lot of energy for a nursing Mommy! She calms right now when she goes back in her crate and we think she has just had enough of being in the hospital. She is so sweet and gentle, that we can't imagine a home that wouldn't work for her!

If you would like to help Pearl, but can not adopt her, please consider making a donation to go towards her medical bills! The rescue has spent nearly $1,000 for the care of her and her babies. Pearl and the babies thank you so very much! Please remember to include Pearl's name so the donation can be applied appropriately!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Claymont Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Claymont, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Claymont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Claymont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Claymont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Claymont paves the way for another one to be saved.
