Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Molly came to us through a Good Samaritan that could not find her owners. It was apparent that Molly was with child once entering our program and the radiographs proved just that.
Molly’s labor began February 3rd. All was going well and 6 puppies were born on the morning of February 4th. Much later that evening her foster mom noticed more contractions and pushing. (Signs of distress) She immediately rushed Molly and family to the closest emergency animal hospital. It was determined that Molly had one puppy stuck in the birth canal and she was not going to be able to give birth naturally. Molly had to undergo a cesarean section to remove the final pup. While the pup did not survive we are very fortunate Molly’s foster home recognized the distress, saving her life.
Molly is recovering very well and reported to be an EXCELLENT Mom!
Molly will not be available for adoption until April 7th, 2012. Being with her pups during this critical time of development and learning is essential.
