Miss Spice is a delicate, sweet-faced red/rust TOTALLY natural spayed girl. Despite the distinguished grey around her muzzle, her beautiful choppers suggest shes early-middle age (?4 years old?). She was found as a stray in Baltimore and shes not telling us her exact age (a lady NEVER tells, you know!). Spice is a delicate lady who is DELIGHTED to have found someone to lovebut shes waiting to giver herself fully to a forever home! She is crate trained, knows how to sit sweetly, takes treats politely and is housebroken, just like a lady, too! She is coming out of her shell and LOVES backscratches and ear rubs! She gets along with several large dogs in her foster home, but is probably best in a home with no small dogs or cats. Like any Southern belle who fell on hard times, she is sensitive and would do best in a quiet householdno young children but well-behaved teens who can treat her like a lady would be fine. As her trust grows, so does her exuberanceshe has plenty of energy and loves attentionshe also needs folks with good dog sense and a desire to introduce her to things she may not have learned as a puppyencouraging her to sit for attention rather than bounce and jump and teaching her to feel good about handling of her paws...she gets scared during nail clips so for now, she visits the vets office for her manicures. Shes been visiting Petsmart for socialization and she seems fine with the strange dogs and loves attention from nice strangers, too. She is going to repay her forever home with unending, deep love and devotionand she just needs her own loving family to make her life complete.
