Panda's Story...
I can Fly, I can FLy, I can FLY!!!! or so the people who had me though. I was tossed from a car and some nice people found me in the ditch. So here I am! Guess my name really should be "Pete" and foster mom Wendy. I am a so dang adorable I just can't help myself. I have so much fun running and playing. Stuff doesn't have to move and I will play with it. I will run, run and run. Then I will come to a quick stop, shoot my tail in the air and start again. Guess that is what kids my age do. I have a great motor. I purr with the touch of a hand unless I am in a playful mood then I will want to play. Foster Mom says I run like a bunny. Maybe that is because my ear are so fluffy and my nose is so cute. Even the dog thinks I am cute. I think his tail is cute when it moves, ANOTHER TOY! Now, when I get nappy, watch out. If you are sitting down, I will be all over you getting comfortable. You can rub my chest and feet real gentle like and WOW if can sleep and sleep and sleep. At bedtime, I'll smoosh up real close and get comfortable then purr, purr, purr. I am just a "Lost Boy" looking for a place to call home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Panda, a Smithfield Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
