Brock's Story...
Hi, my name is Brock. If you're looking to add an adorable, playful puppy to your family, then I might be the right choice for you. I love to have fun and play with other dogs- any size, as long as they'll run and play along with me. I have loads of energy, but will also settle down nicely as long as I can get enough exercise during the day- typical for a young dog my age. Another dog in the home for me to play with would be ideal- so would a fenced yard. I am thought to be between 5-6 months old, 30 lbs. as of Feb., with a tan & white short soft coat. I am crate trained, love my chewies and my toys (gotta have them!) and still working on my housetraining, although getting much better. If you have an active lifestyle and would like to give me a good life with your family, then please fill out an application at www.PeisandStrays.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brock, a Newport Beagle/English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/English Bulldog for sale in Newport, or seeking a Beagle/English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Newport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/English Bulldog breeders who help with Beagle/English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport paves the way for another one to be saved.
