Hello Everybody! My name is Miss Cleo! My foster Mom and Dad say it's time to introduce myself! All I can say is I AM IT! It's all about ME! I want all the Love in the world and if you give it to me I'll give it right back. Mom & Dad say I'm not your normal Basset! I am just a little girl weighing in at a petite 42 lbs and that makes me the perfect size to be a lap dog because that's where I like to be! I don't drool like the other guys here at my foster home and I am very, very well mannered. I am really good at using the doggy door when it is time to go and no one has to tell me. I follow Mom & Dad everywhere because I don't want to miss anything. They say I am about 3 but I act a little older because I am so well mannered. I'm not like the 4 year old puppies I'm hanging around with because they act pretty goofy and are always up to something. I am not shy but am on the quiet side. These other hounds are trying to teach me how to bark and howl and I do O.K. but it's really not my thing!
I know how to play with their toy's but would rather just be loved on! I'm doing O.K hanging around with 3 other Basset girls, 1 Basset boy and one BIG BLACK LAB that I really don't care for! That Big one kinda let's me pick on her! I have been sleeping in a kennel at night and do very well with it. The only reason I do not sleep with Mom & Dad is 2 of the other Basset's sleep with them and Dad says one more and he is moving to the spare room! I am very good with children and adults both and have never met anyone I do not love! Mom gave me a bath and it was great! She didn't have to wrestle me like the other guy's because I enjoyed it! I am such a good girl! I need to find my forever home before Dad falls totally in love with me and wants to keep me. I'm working on him so you better hurry! See you soon!
