Monte's Story...
Monte is a beautiful sweet boy who was just rescued from the shelter and this is what we've observed of him so far:

This pooch is as sweet as they come. When I was waiting with him at the vets office he crawled in my lap and was full of doggy kisses, not just for me, but for anyone who approached him, even 2 young boys who he promptly gently licked on the face to say hello. His tail never really stopped wagging the entire time. He got pulled from the shelter just in time and now this awesome and beautiful dog with the merle coat is more than ready to be your best friend, and believe me, you won't be sorry you adopted him! He does jump up but is gentle when he does so and after he adjusts to his new home some obedience training will certainly make the bond stronger and make him even more awesome than he already is

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monte, a Sacramento Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
