My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kelly is a 6 year old Lab/ Shepherd/ Boxer mix. He is the smallest of the boys and is around 65 lbs. He is a very affectionate and playful boy. His confident is good; but is a "softer" dog than his brothers, Ukie and Cass. He is very good with other dogs and cats. He is very gentle, but was not raised with children so a home without children under 10 yrs old would fit him best. He likes being with people and hanging out with playmates. He has nice leash and house manners. His dream family would be a person(s) that is active, with a fenced yard, and a playmate (canine, feline or both!). Kelly is a real joker and ball player; but also loves to cuddle.

Feb 14th Update: Kelly is a medium sized dog, weighing in at 65 pounds. He such a lover! He's like his mom, Daisy. If he could lay with is head in your lap or beside you all day, he would be happy. He gets along ok with the others, but generally keeps to himself. I think Zack and Bucky are too active for him. He and Daisy share the couch most of the time, but once in a while, Bucky manages to get himself up there with Kelly! This guy LOVES to play ball. He would probably play fetch 24/7! Of course, he has to compete with Daisy when we're playing, but he gets his ball and she gets her own. He loves to run around the yard with the others. I have a fenced in yard so they can ramble together. Kelly does great with all of the people that visit. I don't have small kids, mine are 12 and 15, so I'm not sure how he'd do with little ones. I think that Kelly would do best in a one dog home, but would be ok if there was another older dog. I think that he was just one of the pack in his old family, kind of stuck in the middle, and that he needs attention lavished on him now. He "talks" up a storm when he's being loved!
