Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Piper (AKA Pie) is a 1 1/2 yo black tri female who will be spayed, is current on shots and being maintained on heartworm preventative.
She came to ARPH as an owner give up after spending her entire life secluded in a backyard. She is now learning how to be a dog. She is a little shy when meeting new people but once she gets to know you, she is very velcro and needs to be in the company of her people. She is not housetrained yet but her foster home is working to change that. She is crate trained and is quickly learning commands and leash training. She is a very smart and pretty girl. She is very protective of her food bowl around other Aussies in her foster home so she will have to be fed away from other dogs in the home. She seems to have a very strong herding instinct.
Pie has been very good with the small children she has met and gets along great with the other Aussies at her foster home. She gets a little nervous riding in a car because it is new to her but that should change as she gains her confidence. She is being fostered in Tallahassee, FL
