RuPaul's Story...
RuPaul is PINK!! We have no idea why he is pink but this poor baby ended up at the pound this color. We don't know what color he really is but we think cream and tan but its hard to tell at this point. He is a super love bug and really really wants to cuddle with people. He is super cute and will be even cuter when he is back to his normal color.

RuPaul is new to our program. We will update as we get to know him. If you are interested in meeting him please email to find out which adoption event he will be attending.

RuPaul is around 6mo old and about 8lbs. Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RuPaul, a Houston Maltese/Silky Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Silky Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maltese/Silky Terrier puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Silky Terrier breeders who help with Maltese/Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
