My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poseidon is an 8 week old spaniel mix weighing in at about 10 pounds. He is one of the largest of the litter. He turns into a cuddle bug the moment you pick him up. Though he's generally calm, he's very outgoing, and, dare we say it, life with Poseidon is sure to be an adventure!

Because of his Poseidon's young age, he will need a stay-at-home person to continue with his housebreaking, socialization and general obedience. He will be ready for puppy school soon. Although we don't know his father, we do know his mother is a medium-sized (44 lb.) spaniel mix (see Rhea). Since there is no guarantee of what size he will grow into, only those willing to take pot-luck need apply!

Come meet Poseidon in person at his current foster home: Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, during store hours 7 days a week (phone 847-251-6750, www.wilmettepetcenter.com). While you may want to take this gentle giant of a puppy home with you, please keep in mind that you must go through the application process before that can happen.

Poseidon's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, microchip, deworming and neuter.
