Kingsley's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Kingsley's Story...
Kingsley was rescued after being dumped at the shelter by abusive former owners. You would expect a dog who had gone through this kind of trauma to be defensive and possibly agressive but not Kingsley! He is extremely happy and gets along with everyone. He gets along great with all the other dogs he has met in the neighborhood. He is very mellow and sweet (a bit needy, too!). The staff at the vet's office love him because he is so easy going and happy. His tail is almost constantly wagging. He is a maltese mix. We suspect he is 3 yrs. He is healthy with the exception of a broken jaw which has been treated and is healing well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kingsley, a Encino Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Encino, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
