Blake's Story...
Hello, my name is Blake and I am a handsome man who just loves to play, play, play. My foster Mum took me away from a scary place that had a lot of other dogs. I don’t know how I got there but I know I never want to go back again!!

I live in a nice place now in the great state of Tennessee but would really love to come live with you. My foster mum says that most of us southern dogs love the chance to play in the snow and that New England would be good for me. I don’t know what snow is, but I’ll try anything once. Oh, did I tell you I like to climb fences? Ya, it’s a talent that’s taken quite some time to perfect. Because of this, my new family must have a yard that’s fenced in with a tall fence.

I’m not a very big guy, 40 lbs or so, and I don’t plan on growing much more. I’d love to have someone to call my own; won’t you please take me home with you? I love giving kisses and I could be in charge of greeting all of your guests.

~ All dogs are fully vetted, spayed or neutered and micro chipped before being sent home. They will receive a travel health certificate prior to being transported north.

~This dog is currently being fostered in TN and will be transported to New England via private transport once a wonderful, adoptive home has been approved and adoption fee received.

~We are looking for foster homes in the North East. Would you consider helping us out? If you or someone you know might be interested in fostering, please contact us at FRIENDSFURLIFENE@VERIZON.NET

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blake, a Alfred Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Alfred, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Alfred.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alfred already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alfred breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alfred paves the way for another one to be saved.
