Anna -Adopted's Story...
Anna and brother Angus are adorable Great Pyrenees pups, born around Dec. 26th and are now about 9 wks old. Their parents are livestock guardian dogs and had an unwanted litter so the pups have come to the rescue to find good homes as family pets. The pups are now in a foster home and doing great. They are sweet, fun little furballs! They will be available for adoption around March 15th once they have had two sets of puppy vaccines, dewormings and are spayed and neutered. Adopters will need to follow up with their vet for the third/final booster vaccine.

We are accepting applications to preapprove for their adoption. Once the application is approved we'll be happy to set up a visit at the foster home. A $50 deposit will be required to hold the puppy on pending status until ready for adoption around March 15th. The application can be downloaded from our website:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna -Adopted, a Oklahoma City Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
