Nemo is an incredibly good-looking boy with the most striking orange eyes! He has a wonderful purrsonality to match his good looks. This affectionate little boy craves human interaction. Nemo enjoys being held and loves being pet...rubbing the top of his head or scratching him under the chin is a surefire way to get his purr motor humming! Nemo also loves a good conversation...he is always happy to listen to you talk about your day and then happy to tell you about his! One of his favorite stories to tell is about an epic battle he had involving a fabric wand toy and his roommate Gulliver. Intrigued? Read on...
Nemo was minding his own business and having a great time holding onto 1 end of a fabric wand toy when all of a sudden Gulliver, his roommate, caught hold of the other end. The fiercest, and I admit, only tug-of-war that I have ever seen between 2 cats commenced. It was an evenly matched contest; neither kitty giving ground...Gulliver gripped the fabric part of the wand between his teeth, emitted a low growl, and arched his back to put all of his weight into pulling the other end from Nemo's grasp. So dedicated was Gulliver, he actually fell over onto his hind quarters several times, never losing grip on the fabric mind you, because he was putting so much effort into the contest! Nemo's form wasn't as practiced as Gulliver's...no arch to his back; he stayed low to the ground. However, Nemo did employ his front paws on top of the fabric as a security measure in case the worst happened...in case he somehow lost the fabric from his mouth. As I watched, with my mouth hanging open in disbelief, the fabric went and stayed taut as both Gulliver and Nemo struggled valiantly to win the tug-of-war for approximately 3-5 minutes. I'm not sure how it happened, but all of a sudden Nemo pulled away in victory and Gulliver was left wandless, wondering what happened. It was one of Nemo's finer moments and one of his fondest memories, so I warn you, be prepared to hear this story multiple times!
Based on this story, you have no doubt determined that Nemo is a fan of wand toys! In addition to fabric wand toys, Nemo also likes sparkly wand toys and will carry both around in his mouth after triumphantly catching them. It's funny, if you make the wand toy go over his head, he'll look around frantically to find it in every direction EXCEPT up! It's not all about wands for Nemo though, he likes toy mice too! He also likes practicing paw-eye coordination by smacking at toys you randomly toss up to him as he sits on top of a kitty condo. I'm guessing this is training for any future tug-of-war matches he may participate in... Something else funny about Nemo...he sometimes talks while he's playing!
Nemo is a sweet, friendly, snuggly, playful little guy who will keep you laughing with his antics and keep you company with his conversational skills. He would love to have another friendly kitty to pal around with in his new home, but most importantly he wants a family who will give him all of the love and affection (and playtime!) he deserves! This is one special boy and one lucky family will have the privilege of bringing him home! So don't wait any longer, Nemo is so excited to meet you!
