Lady's Story...
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this dog personally. Be sure to contact the foster or organization directly from the information listed below.

Lady is a 5-year old spayed, brown and tan Pomeranian/Pug mix who weighs about 15 lbs. She is a nice little lady who is friendly and walks nicely on a leash. She enjoys sitting next to you and is a great companion. She is treat motivated, but perhaps needs a little training to be more gentle in taking her treats. She might do well with older, dog-savvy children in the household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Vista Pomeranian/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Pug for sale in Vista, or seeking a Pomeranian/Pug dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Pug breeders who help with Pomeranian/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
