Oak's Story...
Oak the dog lover--check out the first photo and you'll see just how friendly this kitty is.

If you have another friendly dog or cat...Oak is for you!!! She is about 9 months old and plays like a kitten!!! She is being fostered in a home with kids, 2 dogs and another nice cat and she is the life of the party!! She runs to the food dish with the dogs, to the door when the dogs bark and definitely snuggles in on our laps...with the dog! She has been spayed, micro-chipped, all vaccinations completed for one year and of course worming and flea and tick treatment completed...and she is microchipped...her adoption donation is only $60 to cover some of the vetting... Please contact her foster mom at mymouchette@aol.com if you have any questions about this princess!!!

All kitties will be spayed/neutered and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. All of our kitties have been combo tested and microchipped! For more information about this great cat, please email Barbara at blowe@optonline.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oak, a Griffin Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Griffin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Griffin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Griffin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Griffin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Griffin paves the way for another one to be saved.
