Magic's Story...
For a fun time you need to adopt both Magic and brother Jazie. These two boys have so much love to share. You sit down and one is on one side of you the other on the other side of you, both waiting for their pets and treats. They also love cat nip on their beds. Both of these cats came into the shelter in June of 2009, they are 8 years old as of 6/1/17. They get along great with other cats and are perfect for any family. When I come into their room, they greet me and follow me to where I sit down. They need to be adopted together. They are the purrrrrrrrrrrfect cats
For more info on this cat, please call Julie at 818 307-3326 or our shelter between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays) at (818) 340-1687 or (818) 340-1186.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magic, a Canoga Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Canoga Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Canoga Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canoga Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canoga Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canoga Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
