My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hootie just arrived and his foster family -- humans and furry four- footers are having a blast with him. They took a little time away from play to share:

Hootie is a HOOT! He is joyful and he bounces! He chases sunbeams as they dance across the room. We cannot believe that he came in to GRFR as a stray. He is pure Golden from his highly desired disposition and good looks to his sweet, loving, loyal, and expressive eyes. He is quite well settled for a 1-year-old. And Velcro? Absolutely, positively. Unlike most Goldens who bark, Hootie bays like a Basset or maybe a hoarse seal. . . really funny.

Hootie is a very good house guest and has made himself right at home. He lets us know when he needs to go out and when he is ready to come back in. He found the toy box in no time at all and picked out some favorites to retrieve and carry along. He loves walks so much that he wants to see what's ahead and pulls on the leash. His enthusiasm is typical of younger Goldens and will resolve with training. You'll have such a good time with him at doggy school! "Good boy Hootie!"

Hootie just arrived, so check back soon for updates and spa day photos . . . handsome Hootie!!!!
